Update: The twitter account that this report came from was an impersonation account of our friends at WhatsOnNetflix. It seems a lot of us have been had! We apologize for the misinformation. We will be leaving this up. Let’s hope it comes true, anyways!

Original report:

It’s been revealed that Zack Snyder’s upcoming Netflix Rebel Moon movie might have added the likes of Jared Leto and Henry Cavill to its cast.

This news comes from a recent production listing for the upcoming movie (via What’s On Netflix).

Here’s what the listing reveals:

  • It revealed that the filming on Rebel Moon might be extended for over a month.
  • It also lists Sofia Boutella, Jared Leto, Billy Crudup, Ray Fisher, and Henry Cavill as the current cast members for the franchise.

That’s a pretty big update regarding the movie, which could easily end up being one of Netflix’s biggest original movies.

Snyder’s already directed one of them in Army Of The Dead and wrote another in Army Of Thieves.

Moreover, this recent update seems to confirm our scoop from a few months back that Billy Crudup has joined the cast of Rebel Moon.

We’ll still have to wait for official confirmation from Netflix.

We have reached out to the streamer to ask for confirmation of the movie’s cast list.

They have yet to reply, but I will update this article as soon as we hear anything from Netflix.

As far as Rebel Moon’s concerned, it seems as though Snyder wants to develop this into a huge space opera franchise.

The movie was originally a pitch Snyder made to Lucasfilm for a Star Wars movie.
