Zack Snyder has revealed why Jared Leto’s Joker in Justice League doesn’t have tattoos in the movie. He revealed this during an interview with Variety.

This was something that many people did spot when the first pictures of Leto’s Joker in Justice League were revealed. Where had The Joker’s tattoos gone? It’s not that easy to have your tats removed.

Well, Zack Snyder tried to give some sort of explanation during the interview. I will say that his explanation was a bit wishy-washy. However, I do think that Jared Leto’s Joker looks so much better than he did in 2016’s Suicide Squad. I really think that he didn’t look very good in that film.

Here’s what Zack Snyder had to say in the interview with Variety about Jared Leto’s Joker not having tattoos in his Justice League:

“I would say that there’s been some water under the bridge. Who knows what’s happened. I don’t know if he’s wearing makeup, I don’t know what’s happening. It’s hard to say exactly.”

So, it sounds like Jared Leto’s Joker has gone through some stuff since the last time we saw him, which was in 2016’s Suicide Squad.
