Priyanka Chopra Reveals She Wants To Be The First Female James Bond

Seems as though Priyanka Chopra wants to be the first female actor ever to play James Bond. She revealed this during a recent interview with Metro in the UK.

Now, I’m not sure this will ever happen. Actually, I’m pretty certain it’ll never happen. However, this doesn’t mean that it couldn’t and it shouldn’t. Priyanka Chopra would be an interesting choice, but I’m not sure if she would be the best choice.

That said, she’s been saying that she would love the opportunity to be the first woman to play the role. However, it seems as though Lashana Lynch has already been given that opportunity of sorts. She will be playing 007 in No Time To Die, not Bond.

Here’s what Chopra had to say about wanting to be the first female actor to play James Bond:

I mean it’s not up to me to make it a thing. It’ s up to people to be ready to watch a female Bond. We can keep talking about it, but someone’s got to make it. And if it ever gets made, I would obviously love to throw my name in the mix, as I have, as I will.

As I said earlier, I’m not against the idea of a female James Bond or 007. However, I think Lashana Lynch is a much better choice for the role, which incidentally she already has been cast as the new 007. Maybe she might be getting her own spin-off movie?
