Zack Snyder Reveals How He Managed To Convince Jared Leto To Return As The Joker In Justice League

Jared Leto Joker Suicide Squad

Zack Snyder has revealed how he managed to get Jared Leto to come back to play the Joker in his upcoming Justice League movie. He revealed this information during an interview with the YouTube channel TheFilmJunkee, and it sounds like Leto needed a lot of convincing.

I have to say that I was very surprised when it was revealed that Jared Leto would be returning as The Joker in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Like many others, I just didn’t see it coming, but somehow, Snyder managed to convince the actor to return to the role.

The reason why I was quite surprised by this news was because Leto’s Joker was really not well received by critics and fans in Suicide Squad. However, it seems as though he’s willing to give it another shot, and I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us.

Here’s what Zack Snyder said about how he managed to convince the actor/musician to return to play the Joker in his cut of Justice League:

It was a cool conversation because when I pitched the idea, I feel like he hooked onto the ‘why’ of it because there’s a big why, and was like ‘okay.’ And literally, he said to me ‘We’ll talk more.’ And then I kept calling him and we talked for a while and he agreed to do it.

So, it sounds like they needed quite a few calls to end up on the same page. However, they got there, and now many of us Snyder Cut fans are eagerly awaiting what Leto’s Joker will do in the Justice League epic miniseries which is coming to HBO Max in 2021.
