It’s been revealed that Xochitl Gomez has been cast in Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.
This casting news was first revealed by Deadline.
They reported that the Baby-Sitters Club star was going to be in the movie.
However, they didn’t reveal which character she would be playing in the upcoming Doctor Strange 2 movie.
That didn’t stop people online from speculating that she will be playing America Chavez in the movie.
It does make sense and fans have been eager to see a live-action version of the Marvel comics character.
Plot details on the upcoming movie are also being kept under wraps.
We haven’t been told any specifics about the plot or which character Gomez will be playing in the movie.

As far as Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness is concerned, all we really know is that it’ll see Benedict Cumberbatch return.
We also know that the Multiverse will be involved somehow.
Oh yes, and Sam Raimi has taken over directing duties from Scott Derrickson who left the project due to “creative differences”.
There have also been rumours that Doctor Strange 2 will tie in with WandaVision.
Or at least, WandaVision will set up Doctor Strange 2.
It’s still not clear how, but it seems as though WandaVision will have something to do with the Multiverse.
