WandaVision Finale’s Mid-Credits Scene Explained
Thankfully, we here as Small Screen are on hand to give you some sort of explanation regarding what was really going on in that mid-credits scene.
Before I continue, I would like to make it very clear that there will be SPOILERS for the WandaVision Finale (duh!), so if you haven’t watched it yet, then maybe turn away now.
WARNING: SPOILERS FOR WANDAVISION’S FINALE COMING UP!
So, WandaVision’s final episode aired and I know that many of you were a bit disappointed by the ending.
I do understand why some people might have been rather disappointed by it.
It has to do with the fact that so many of us were coming up with our own theories on what was going to happen.
In the end, the season’s ending was a bit more about Wanda and Vision’s relationship and her kids.
It was a very emotional ending and I actually thought it was rather good.
However, some people on Twitter and some YouTubers really didn’t like the way this first Marvel Studios series finished.
WandaVision’s mid-credits scene teases Captain Marvel 2
So, what happened in the mid-credits scene?
Well, if you’re reading this article, then I’m pretty certain you’ve watched the episode and saw this mid-credits scene.
In it, we see an FBI agent come up to Monica Rambeau and tell her she’s wanted in the theatre.
They walk into Westview’s theatre together, and when in there, the FBI agent reveals she’s a Skrull and tells her that ‘he’ wants to see her.
Wh0’s ‘he’, Rambeau asks, and the FBI agent Skrull points to the sky.
So, who’s she’s talking about?
Well, it’s pretty obviously Nick Fury, whom we last saw to be in space with the Skrulls.
It seems as though Fury has heard about Monica and maybe he knows she now has powers and needs her help with something.
Captain Marvel 2 will feature Monica Rambeau
Therefore, it seems as though Nick Fury will be involved in Captain Marvel 2.
It was already revealed by Marvel President Kevin Feige that Teyonah Parris would be playing Monica Rambeau in Captain Marvel 2.
Therefore, this mid-credits scene in WandaVision is basically setting this up, which is pretty cool.
