Venom 2 Release Date Might Not Be Delayed After All

Venom-2-Let-There-Carnage-Release-Date-Delayed

It had been reported that Sony Pictures was thinking of delaying Venom 2 (Venom: Let There Be Carnage) to 2022, however, those reports might have been mistaken.

This was revealed by ComicBook in a recent report on the film, which is supposed to be released in cinemas this October.

They wrote, “a studio insider says rumours the film will move further to 2022 are not true”.

Venom 2 has been delayed so many times because of the pandemic that I’ve lost count.

There were some rumours earlier on in the week that Sony Pictures was thinking of pushing the movie back to 2022.

The reasons given were that Sony was still worried about the pandemic and they were thinking of maybe releasing it after Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Honestly, I just think that Sony needs to release this movie at this point.

The film was supposed to come out last October, but it was pushed back due to the pandemic.

Sony opted not to release any movies during the pandemic because they wanted to ensure they would get as much money as they could from the box office.

Sony also doesn’t have its own streaming service on which they can release its films for a fee – unlike Disney with Disney Plus and Warner Bros. Pictures with HBO Max.

Although, Warner Bros. was releasing its 2020 and 2021 blockbusters on HBO Max for free!
