It’s been revealed by The Batman’s director/writer that his upcoming movie will be the most emotional Batman movie ever made.

Reeves revealed this during Warner Bros. Pictures’ panel at this year’s CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

I must say that CinemaCon has proven to be quite the event this year.

We saw Spider-Man: No Way Home’s trailer premiered at the event.

We then had the Warner Bros. panel during which they spoke of their upcoming DC Comics film projects.

This was when Matt Reeves spoke of how emotional his Batman movie will be.

He also spoke of Year One which is a comic book that he was seemingly rather inspired by.

Here’s what Matt Reeves had to say about his upcoming movies during Warner Bros. Pictures’ panel at CinemaCon:

I felt that we’ve seen lots of origin stories. It seems things go further and further into fantasy, and I thought, well, one place we haven’t been is grounding it in the way that Year One does, to come right in to a young Batman, not being an origin tale, but referring to his origins and shaking him to his core. You can have it be very practical, but I also thought it could be the most emotional Batman movie ever made.
