Tom-Cruise-Doctor-Strange-2-Set-Photos-Real-Or-Fake

There have been a bunch of supposed Doctor Strange 2 set photos ‘leaked’ that seem to show Tom Cruise on the Marvel movie’s set.

Are these photos real or fake? I believe that’s the question that many people have been asking themselves when it comes to these ‘leaked’ Doctor Strange 2 set photos.

This is never an easy question to answer, however, the good folks over at PunkBeast seemed to have answered that question for us.

According to the media outlet, the photos showing Tom Cruise on the Doctor Strange 2 are fake.

They reached out to a number of photography experts and asked them to work out whether these set photos are real or fake.

After some deliberation, they concluded that the set photos are doctored (if you’d pardon the pun).

Looks like those Tom Cruise Doctor Strange set photos are fake

Here’s what PunkBeast’s Sabine Marie had to say on the matter:

We asked several post photography experts and they say they are most likely fake. There is also another set of photos supporting that the circulating photos are fake. The image of Tom Cruise seems really out of place. One of them is quite obvious, where one can actually see a cut outline. The other was blurred to hide the manipulation.

So, it seems as though these particular Doctor Strange 2 set photos aren’t the real deal.

However, this doesn’t mean that Tom Cruise won’t be in the movie.

There have been rumours for what seems like eons suggesting that Cruise will be turning up in Doctor Strange 2 as an Iron Man/Tony Stark variant.

It would be really good casting because Marvel Studios did consider casting Cruise in the role back before Jon Favreau made the first Iron Man movie in 2008.

He wanted Robert Downey Jr for the role, and the rest is history.
