Tobey Maguire Has Signed On To His First Film In Years

It’s been revealed that Tobey Maguire has signed on to star in his first film in years, and no, it’s not Spider-Man: No Way Home.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tobey Maguire will star in Damien Chazelle’s upcoming film called Babylon.

The last movie Tobey Maguire was in was 2017’s The Boss Baby and that was an animated film.

You’ll have to go back all the way to 2014 for his last live-action movie.

Pawn Sacrifice was the last live-action film he starred in and then he took a rather long break from acting.

There are myriad reasons why he decided to take a step back from acting for a few years.

But, it seems like he’s back and is ready to get back to acting again.

He couldn’t have chosen a more interesting film to be part of, and one with a better cast.

Chazelle’s film will also star the likes of Olivia Wilde, Spike Jonze and Phoebe Tonkin.

However, this film’s ridiculous cast doesn’t stop there.

Other names attached to the project include Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, Diego Calva, Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li and Katherine Waterston.

Max Minghella, Lukas Haas, Flea, Rory Scovel, Samara Weaving, Eric Roberts, P.J. Byrne and Damon Gupton are also part of the sprawling cast.

I think this might be the best cast ever assembled and it’s so good to see Tobey Maguire back in the limelight.
