It’s been revealed that Lucifer Season 5 Part 2’s viewing numbers on Netflix have been huge and that’s good news.
This news was revealed via Digital Spy who reported that Nielsen claimed that the latest season of Lucifer was viewed by an impressive 1.3 billion minutes since it landed on Netflix.
Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 was released on Netflix back on May 28th and it’s been occupying the top three positions in Netflix’s top ten TV series list ever since.
Lucifer Season 6 will be the show’s last season, which did upset quite a few of the show’s fans.
LuciFans have been on a pretty insane rollercoaster ride.
The show was initially cancelled after Season 3, and then Netflix came and saved the show.
They green lit Season 4 and then announced that Season 5 was going to be the final season.
However, the rollercoaster wasn’t done yet since Netflix then revealed that there would be a sixth season and Season 5 would be split into two parts.

So, Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 was just released and we think that Season 6 will be released sometime in 2022.
Fans of the show will be happy that there’s another season coming.
However, they’ll be sad that this time it will be the end.
“My hope for our audience is that they too have appreciated the journey,” Lucifer’s writer, Chris Rafferty revealed.
“That they’ve enjoyed all the emotions, good and bad, that we’ve guided them through. And that they’ve also found a sense of family, like I have.”
He added: “I am hyper-aware of the audience’s attachment to these characters and get messages on the daily about wanting the show to last forever. But the world doesn’t work that way.
“All good things come to an end. And my number one goal going into season 6 was to be mindful of that. And to help the audience find some sense of peace by the time it’s over.”
