It’s now being rumoured that Tim Burton’s The Addams Family TV series is going to be R-rated, which sounds interesting to me. This rumour comes from that serial scooper, Daniel Richtman and his beloved Patreon page.

This The Addams Family TV series is something that many of us here at Small Screen are really looking forward to. There have been a lot of rumours about who will be involved in the show.

We were told by inside sources that Tim Burton wants Johnny Depp to play Gomez Addams in the series, and it was then revealed that Depp is also very keen on playing the role.

The rumour that this series is going to be R-rated is something that I think will be really cool. The idea of an R-rated Addams Family TV series is pretty out there, however. It’s the sort of show that would benefit from being seen by as many people as possible.

It’s also a show that traditionally skews younger, and I think that making the series R-rated would be a bit of a mistake. I know that people would love the idea of seeing an R-rated TV series, but I do not know what the benefit would be making it more adult in nature.
