But, what about The Witcher Season 4? Is that going to happen?

Well, turns out that it is. According to a source with very close ties to the new Netflix hit, they are already working on The Witcher Season 4 behind the scenes.

Here’s what this insider had to say about the fourth season of this new hit Netflix show being in the works:

We have plans for at least two more seasons of the main show.

I know it’s not all that much to go on, but we asked them to elaborate on what they said.

This was when they confirmed that they were referring to The Witcher Seasons 3 and 4.

Netflix is already working on spinoffs of the main show.

The Witcher: Blood Origin is a prequel series that will be coming out relatively shortly.

We also have it on good authority that Netflix has high hopes for this prequel series and has plans for multiple seasons of this show.

However, The Witcher will still be their main focus, and that’s exactly how it should be.

It does seem as though The Witcher Season 3 is going to be yet another big hit for Netflix.

The second season was watched over 142 million hours within its first week after its release.

That’s not a number to be sniffed at, and it seems like The Witcher is going to be one of Netflix’s main shows moving forward.

I’m sure they’ll be hoping that the show’s popularity could help entice more subscribers to their platform.

They reported that they are predicting only 2.5 million new subscribers in the first quarter of 2022.

The number would mean that the beginning of 2022 would be the slowest start of a new year for the streamer in the last ten years.

Maybe The Witcher and Henry Cavill can help boost those numbers a bit.
