James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad Has Wrapped Shooting In Panama

James Gunn took to Instagram to reveal that his upcoming DCEU movie, The Suicide Squad, has wrapped production in Panama, but there’s still more to shoot.

The writer/director took to Instagram to thank the people of Panama and reveal that their time shooting there has come to an end.

However, he was also keen to stress that production on the movie was still going. That part of the project still isn’t over.

They have more of the movie to shoot, they’ve just finished the bits they were filming in Panama.

It’s been very interesting watching the production of this upcoming Suicide Squad movie.

It all seems to have gone very smoothly and we’ve seen some rather fascinating set photos.

These photos have revealed Margot Robbie’s new Harley Quinn look for the movie, and she looks better than ever.

We’ve also had glimpses at Idris Elba and John Cena in costume.

That’s almost a wrap on The Suicide Squad

Anyway, here’s what James Gunn had to say about their time shooting in Panama via his Instagram account:

That’s a wrap on our time in #Panama. #TheSuicideSquad isn’t quite done shooting but we’re approaching the finish line and we did just wrap some key cast members – @joaquincosiooficial, @itsdanielamelchior, @joelkinnaman, @johncena and @steveagee. Each one of them have defied expectations, gone above and beyond the call of duty, and touched my heart. I am grateful for all of them, as well as for the people of #ColonPanama and #PanamaCityPanama who helped to make our time here so special.

It really does sound as if they’ve had a very special time in Panama.

I really cannot wait to see the final product. Hopefully, James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad will be as good as the set photos make it look.
