Fans of The Simpsons have taken to Twitter to point out how the show predicted Donald Trump’s death, and they’re now hopeful following his COVID-19 positive test.

The Simpsons has a pretty remarkable track record when it comes to predicting the future.

If you look into everything they predicted over the years, things start to get pretty scary.

They predicted things like Arnold Schwarzenegger going into politics.

They actually had him becoming the President of the United States in The Simpsons movie.

They also predicted that Disney would buy 20th Century Fox. I know! Crazy.

They predicted things like smartwatches and autocorrect.

They even predicted the FIFA corruption scandal!

However, they’re the most famous prediction of all was Donald Trump becoming President.

In one episode, they also predicted Donald Trump’s death, and now fans of the show are hoping this is another prediction that will come true.

There were so many people taking to Twitter ever since it was announced that Trump and Melania had both tested positive for COVID-19.

They all pointed towards The Simpsons episode in which Donald Trump dies hoping that this might also be something The Simpsons got right.

Sometimes I do wonder whether Matt Groening does come from the future.

Or, he has a time-travelling device which lets him see snippets of the future.

Anyway, people are hoping that this will come true.
