The Rumours That Cyborg Is Being Recast In The DCEU Are False

It was being rumoured that Cyborg was being recast and that Ray Fisher would be leaving the DCEU movies. Well, those rumours have now been debunked by Mark Hughes on Twitter.

Who’s Mark Hughes you ask, and why should we listen to him? Well, he’s a screenwriter and often writes for The Huffington Post and Slate. He’s quite well known in the industry and would know what’s going on.

He recently took to Twitter after it was rumoured that Ray Fisher was being pushed out of the DCEU and that Warner Bros. Pictures was recasting Cyborg. These rumours were being put around the Internet by, guess who… Grace Randolph. Here’s what she had to say via Twitter:

But, Mark Hughes then took to Twitter to debunk Grace’s rumours, and he did it pretty swift. You can see what he had to say in the tweet below.

Here’s what Mark Hughes had to say about those Cyborg recasting rumours:

The rumors of Cyborg recasting are a lie, Cyborg is not in The Flash and the role is not being recast. I’ve confirmed this with the studio. The rumor is FALSE.
So, yeah. Seems as though Ray Fisher isn’t being replaced as Cyborg. Warner Bros. Pictures is not recasting the role. I’m pretty happy about all of that. Are you?
