Jim Carrey Could Return As The Mask In An Animated Series On HBO Max

There are now rumours making their way around the Internet that Jim Carrey could return as The Mask in an upcoming animated Mask series on HBO Max.

This rumour comes from We Got This Covered’s sources who claim that HBO Max is looking to make an animated show of The Mask.

Honestly, I think that an animated The Mask TV show would be great.

There actually was one in the 90s, but it didn’t have Jim Carrey as the voice of Stanley Ipkiss.

It would be wonderful to get him to come back to voice the character.

I really wonder whether he’d say yes though.

He hasn’t returned to too many of his characters – barring Ace Ventura and Dumb and Dumber.

There could be scope for HBO Max to make a more R-Rated version of The Mask.

That could be a reason for Carrey to return to the role.

It would allow him to do something even more risqué with the character.

That said, I highly doubt they’ll do that because they would alienate a huge section of their audience – kids.

I would love to see him come back to The Mask.

It’s a role he was born to play, and I would never say no to more of him as the man in green.
