We’re all eagerly awaiting for The Mandalorian Season 3, however, it sounds like Season 4 could be the show’s final season.
I will begin by stating that at this point, this is something of a rumour.
I first saw this via Jordon Maison on Twitter.
Jordan is the Editor-In-Chief of Cinelix which is a website a bit like Small Screen.
RE: #TheMandalorian stuff going around. Haven't heard about it ending at season 3 (I've been hearing 4th season), but there's an "end" planned. If it ends, I've also heard it'll just morph into a "new" show that sticks with the characters/time period, but under a new name.

Here’s what Maison had to say on The Mandalorian Season 4 being the show’s last:

So, could this happen? Well, I think that it could.
However, I think think that the show will really end with Season 4.
What I think could happen is that the characters either get their own shows, or they actually start making movies for release on Disney Plus.
That would be an interesting way to go.
I’m still actually not sure what’s happening with Rangers Of The New Republic, but I do wonder whether it’s these sorts of shows that will carry on The Mandalorian’s mantle.
