The Mandalorian Season 3 Starts Filming Without Pedro Pascal

The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 4 Disney Plus

It’s been revealed that The Mandalorian Season 3 has started filming this September and Pedro Pascal isn’t on set yet.

However, this doesn’t mean you should panic.

What it means is that Pedro Pascal is currently filming The Last Of Us series for HBO.

That is still filming now and I’m sure that Pedro will spend some time on The Mandalorian Season 3’s set very soon.

This was revealed by BespinBulletin and they have a very good track record with these sorts of scoops.

Here’s what they had to say on the matter:

Just an update on this. They began filming last week at Manhattan Beach studios. They’re filming – they’ve been filming for over a week. No, Pedro isn’t there. They’ll be filming at the train yard sometime in October. This is the way.

So, it sounds like Pedro will be on set towards the end of October to film his scenes.

It’s important to note that they don’t really need to have Pedro on set because he’s often not the person in the suit.

He has filmed some scenes in the suit, but he mostly does voiceover work for The Mandalorian.

It’ll be interesting to see how much time Djin Djarin will spend with his Mandalorian mask off, however.

I think we will be seeing much more of Pedro’s actual face in Season 3.
