The Mandalorian Season 2 Directors Include Robert Rodriguez And Peyton Reed

It’s been revealed that Robert Rodriguez and Payton Reed will be directing episodes of The Mandalorian Season 2 on Disney Plus.

The first season of Disney Plus’ The Mandalorian included directors such as Dave Filoni, Taika Waititi, Rick Famuyiwa and Bryce Dallas Howard to name a few.

It featured some really incredible directors and it looks like The Mandalorian Season 2 has also got some great people to helm the episodes.

It was revealed yesterday on Star Wars Day who directed the next episodes of the Star Wars show.

Robert Rodriguez and Payton Reed revealed via Twitter that they directed episodes of the upcoming season.

These are two pretty huge directors to get on the show.

Rodriguez directed the likes of Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn and Machete, which have all achieved cult status.

Payton Reed helmed movies such as Ant-Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp and Bring It On.

Rodriguez wrote on Twitter that he’d had the “rare privilege of directing the biggest star in the universe”.

He accompanied this post with a picture of him with a puppet of “The Child” (also known as Baby Yoda).

Reed simply shared a shot of his director’s chair with Din Djarin’s helmet on it.
