There re rumours that The Mandalorian Season 2 might feature one of the main characters from Star Wars Rebels, Captain Rex.
We’ve just heard news that Rosario Dawson is going to playing Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian Season 2.
There are now reports that Captain Rex might also feature in Season 2 of the very first live-action Star Wars show.
This rumour comes courtesy of The Sandcrawler Blog who spotted that Dave Filoni has changed his Twitter banner.
The image now shows Ahsoka Tano with Captain Rex, and that has lead people to think he might be teasing Rex’s involvement in Season 2.

Filoni is heavily involved in The Mandalorian Season 2.
He directed a few of the episodes in Season 1 and Filoni will direct episodes in Season 2.
He also wrote many of the episodes with Jon Favreau of the first season and it’s pretty likely he’s helped out on Season 2 as well.
So, this could be a huge hint that Captain Rex will be in Season 2 alongside Ahsoka Tano.
