Disney Rumoured To Have Plans For Five Seasons Of The Mandalorian

It’s been rumoured that Disney has plans to make five seasons of their first-ever Star Wars live-action series, The Mandalorian.

The Mandalorian has proven to be very popular on Disney Plus.

That was kind of inevitable given it’s the first-ever live-action Star Wars series to be made.

However, there was a strong possibility that it might not be any good.

Thankfully, it was, and we’re now hearing that Disney wants to make five seasons of their new hit Star Wars TV show.

This rumour comes from We Got This Covered who’s sources claim Disney and Lucasfilm are mapping our four more seasons of The Mandalorian.

It has been revealed that The Mandalorian Season 2 is already being shot and that Disney wants the new season to air in October.

That’s a pretty quick turnaround, however, they really seem to believe in the show.

This comes after it was reported that the Obi-Wan Kenobi and Cassian Andor TV shows have been delayed.

It seems as though Disney and Lucasfilm are concentrating on The Mandalorian for now.

I’m pretty excited to see which directors they end up hiring for Season 2.

Rian Johnson seems pretty keen on directing an episode in Season 2.
