The Flash Film Will Reference Zack Snyder’s Justice League

It’s been revealed that the upcoming The Flash film will reference Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which I’m sure many fans of the SnyderVerse and the director himself will appreciate. This was revealed by YouTuber, Syl Abdul, in a recent ‘Scoopcenter‘ video (via Geekosity). I haven’t heard this myself, but I have to say that Syl has been pretty much spot on with his scoops recently.

There have been so many rumours about what will happen in The Flash movie, which has made me very excited to see the movie. However, we’ve heard some stuff about the movie that doesn’t fill me with hope. One of the latest bits of news about the movie that we’ve heard was that it would feature less of Micheal Keaton’s Batman than they had initially planned. This is annoying. However, we’re now hearing something a little bit more exciting with this news that the movie will reference Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

According to YouTube personality Syl Abdul, The Flash will actually bring Zack Snyder’s Justice League into DCU canon. In his latest Scoopcenter, Abdul said the following:

Those who’ve seen the screening all attest there’s a scene in the first act” where Ben Affleck is talking to Ezra Miller about events in The Snyder Cut.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is canon to The Flash film.

Will we ever see the SnyderVerse restored over at DC Studios?

One of the main questions that fans of the SnyderVerse have is will DC Studios restore it after it was revealed that James Gunn and Peter Safran are now taking control of all upcoming DCU movies and TV shows. Well, Gunn did reveal via Twitter that they are listening to the fans, and he referenced the #ReleaseTheAyerCut movement. So, it sounds as though this news leadership is much more open than the previous one.

We’ll have to wait and see whether they end up releasing David Ayer’s Suicide Squad cut. However, I have a feeling that the SnyderVerse fans will be appeased by what’s coming in the DC Universe in the not-so-distant future. We already know that Henry Cavill is coming back as Superman and will get to star in his own Man Of Steel sequel. It’s also looking like Ben Affleck will get to play Batman a few more times.
