The Batman Star Robert Pattinson Says His Batsuit Is Going To Be Really Cool
People are getting very hyped for Robert Pattinson as Batman in Matt Reeves’ The Batman, which is said to be based partially on the recent Batman video games, and partially on the incredible graphic novel, Batman: The Long Halloween.
We haven’t seen any images or footage yet of Robert Pattinson in the suit, but he’s spoken about how cool it is recently.
This came out during a recent interview with Yahoo! in which he was asked about the Batsuit and what it might look like.
He did say that he hasn’t seen the final version yet, but he likes what he’s seen so far.
Robert Pattinson is going to look so good as Batman
“Matt has got a really awesome idea about it,” he told Yahoo!.
He continued: “I think this thing is going to be very, very cool.”
Pattinson also revealed that he got some costume advice from The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan whilst he was shooting Tenet with the filmmaker.
He also revealed during an earlier interview with Variety that he wore a version of the suit during his final audition for the role.
“It’s maybe the craziest thing I’ve ever done in terms of movie stuff,” Pattinson told Variety.
“I put it on. I remember saying to Matt, ‘It does feel quite transformative!’ He was like, ‘I would hope it does! You’re literally in the Batsuit.’”
Will this be the best Batsuit ever put to screen?
“You do feel very powerful immediately,” Pattinson continued.
“And it’s pretty astonishing, something that is incredibly difficult to get into, so the ritual of getting into it is pretty humiliating. You’ve got five people trying to shove you into something.”
He finished: “Once you’ve got it on, it’s like, ‘Yeah, I feel strong, I feel tough, even though I had to have someone squeezing my butt cheeks into the legs.’”
