It seems as though the release date for Stranger Things Season 4 might have been teased by one of its stars, David Harbour.
David Harbour let some information slip that he probably shouldn’t have during a recent interview of Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
He revealed when the show would be done shooting, and in turn, has given us a tease on when we can expect to see the upcoming season land on Netflix.
Have a look at what David Harbour had to say on the matter in the video below.
Stranger Things Season 4’s release date potentially revealed
Here’s what Harbour had to say:
I mean, you’re not supposed to say, but I’ll tell you. Yeah, I’m almost done. I’ve got one more little stint. We should be done in like August, but I’ve got to shave this [his beard] again.
So, with the news that David Harbour still has a least one more stint on Stranger Things Season 4 to film and that he should be done in August, this solidifies the information that we were told a while back.
We were told that Stranger Things Season 4 was going to be released on Netflix towards the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022.
To be precise, we were told that Stranger Things Season 4’s release date would be in January 2022.
So, it sounds as though that’s when Netflix is aiming to have the latest series of their hit show to be released.
Netflix shows tend to take between three and six months in post-production.
If they’re going to finish filming in August, then December – January would be about right.
It would give them enough time to edit the show in post.
