It’s been revealed that Spider-Man: No Way Home has now passed Avatar’s all-time US box office record, which is insanity!

This is something that many movie pundits – *cough* John Campea *cough* – said would NEVER happen!

Well, it looks like it just did. Spider-Man: No Way Home has now made more money at the US box office than Avatar.

This is pretty crazy news given that we still are in the midst of a global pandemic – when is that thing going to end by the way?

The pandemic has not stopped people from going to the cinema to watch No Way Home again and again.

I watched it twice myself at the cinema, and I was seriously contemplating a third visit.

Now, let’s get onto the numbers. Internationally, Spider-Man: No Way Home has managed to bring in over $1 billion, despite the movie not being granted a China release.

As of writing this article, it’s still unclear whether the movie will ever be released in the Chinese market.

Spider-Man: No Way Home, so far, has made over $760,9 million in the United States.

Avatar managed to make $760.5 million in the United States.

Avatar’s overall box office takings are still higher than No Way Home’s.

However, Cameron’s movie was very, very popular in China.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is now the third-highest grossing movie in American box office history.
