It’s been revealed by Spider-Man: No Way Home’s writers that the movie was going to feature more scenes with Charlie Cox’s Daredevil.

The movie’s writers, Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers revealed this during a recent interview on the latest episode of The Q&A with Jeff Goldsmith podcast.

Here’s what they had to say about writing more scenes with Charlie Cox’s Daredevil – aka Matt Murdock – in Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: No Way Home:

Absolutely. That was the challenge with this movie bringing all these other characters in. We love these characters, and you would love to see them do all kinds of stuff. But the question is, what is there room for? I could watch any of these characters we brought in just do a whole other movie by themselves or in some various combination, but we have to, ultimately, service the story of our Peter Parker and our Spider-Man.

It would have incredible to have seen more of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock in No Way Home.

However, the mere fact that we got to see him in the movie at all was incredible.

Also, the scene he was in was pretty darn good.

It also confirmed that Cox’s Daredevil will be more involved in the MCU moving forward.

Personally, it made me so happy for Charlie, who’s brilliant in the role and deserves more time as Daredevil in the MCU.
