Sebastian Stan has revealed that he’s still very interested in playing a young Luke Skywalker in a future Star Wars movie or TV show.

Stand revealed this during a recent interview with Esquire in which he was talking about all sorts of aspects of his career.

During an interview with Esquire, the 39-year-old Marvel actor responded to fan demands for him to pick up a lightsaber as a young version of the iconic Jedi.

Here’s what he had to say on the matter:

Look, it’s really kind. Never say never. Mark Hamill is my father, you know,” he went on to joke. “And he knows that, and I call him every Christmas to tell him, ‘Just… Just want you to know I’m around.’ It’s really terrifying.

Should Disney hire Sebastian Stan to play a young Luke Skywalker?

There have been so many rumours that Sebastian Stan might get to play Luke Skywalker in an upcoming Star Wars project.

However, Disney and Lucasfilm seem to have been more interested in bringing the iconic Jedi back via deepfakes and CGI.

There is a rather large section of the Star Wars fandom who’d rather see Stan play the role in the Star Wars shows and maybe even in a movie.

It seems as though Stan is just waiting for that call from either Disney or Lucasfilm.

Maybe this is something that Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Mark Hamill should make happen.
