Schoolboy Bullied For His Awesome Tony Stark Costume

A young schoolboy was bullied at school for his pretty darn incredible Tony Stark costume, and it shows that kids are just so mean and don’t know a really good Halloween costume when it hits them in the face! This was revealed in a recent post on Facebook, and the whole story just made me so sad because there was absolutely no reason to bully this kid for wanting to dress up as his favourite Marvel character.

Tony Stark, who was played by Robert Downey Jr in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, is now one of the most famous movie characters of all time. However, I suppose that the other kids bullied him for two reasons: firstly, I think they were jealous of this kid’s ingenuity. Secondly, I think that they also thought, “Why have you dressed up as Tony Stark and not Iron Man…?” That’s the dumbest thing to think because a good Iron Man suit is expensive, and the Halloween Iron Man costumes look awful.

Here’s what was revealed about the whole ordeal:

Little one disguises himself as Tony Stark for a Halloween party at his school. “He only responds to “Tony” or. “Mr. Stark” – Mom. But minutes later they talk to his mother because his classmates had told him bad things about his costume,” they told him that he looked stupid. Evan arrived at school and immediately went to the bathroom and washed his face. When he called he was crying and so hurt that he didn’t even want to stay for his party. This is what my little Tony Stark looks like now. We both have swollen eyes from crying and we are on our way to try to find ice cream.”

Should Robert Downey Jr sort this out?

Honestly, this story makes me so sad because kids should be allowed to dress up as whatever they want and not be ridiculed by other kids about it. I hope that the ones who bullied this kid are punished for their nasty actions. I’m sure that Robert Downey Jr could sort this whole thing out. If he were to turn up at this kid’s school, I’m sure that would shut the bullies up. There’s no place on this Earth for bullies.

As for Robert Downey Jr returning to the character of Tony Stark in the Marvel movies, there have been rumours that he might return to the role in the not-so-distant future. I’m sure that Downey Jr would love to return at some point. However, I wonder whether it might be better for him not to return. Stark’s death in Avengers: Endgame was a huge impactful moment, and I feel that his return would end up undercutting that emotional moment. We’re just going to have to wait and see what happens.
