There have been so many rumours about some crazy cameos in Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange 2 over the past few months – however, we’ve been informed that Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool will not be one of them.

This comes after Reynolds himself told Variety during a recent interview that he’s not going to be in the movie.

He said:

I’m really not in the movie. I’m promising, I’m not in the movie.

Well, an insider told us that Reynolds was indeed telling the truth, stating:

Reynolds has not filmed any scenes for Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.

Ryan Reynolds has not filmed any cameo scenes for Doctor Strange 2… yet…

We then asked the insider whether Marvel and Reynolds could have filmed a cameo in secret or film one even closer to the film’s release.

They said:

It’s a possibility, but highly unlikely.

What we do know is that Ryan Reynolds will be returning as Deadpool in the third Deadpool movie.

That film is currently being written.

Marvel Studios and Reynolds managed to get Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin and Wendy Molyneux to agree to write the film.

They are Emmy award winning writers thanks to their incredible work on Bob’s Burgers.

I really can’t wait to see what they end up doing with the Deadpool character.

Meanwhile, Reynolds revealed that he would be taking a little break from acting.

That said, he’s still out promoting his upcoming Netflix movie, The Adam Project.

He’s also going to be turning up in the sequel to Netflix’s 2021 movie, Red Notice.

Netflix revealed that they would be making a Red Notice trilogy.

So, it sounds as though the Canadian actor and entrepreneur (Aviation gin and Mint Mobile anybody…?) is going to a very busy man over the next few years.
