Warner Bros Has Reportedly Approached Robert Downey Jr. For A DCEU Role

There are rumours circling around the Internet that Warner Bros. Pictures are talking to Robert Downey Jr. about a potential role in a DCEU movie.

This would be huge because Robert Downey Jr. is basically synonymous with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Without his performance as Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man, in the very first Iron Man movie, then the MCU wouldn’t be where it is today.

This news comes from We Got This Covered, who reported that their insider source didn’t know which role he was approached for.

There have been rumours that Downey Jr. could return to the MCU at some point.

However, it’s been rumoured that it might all come down to money.

According to multiple sources, Downey Jr. has asked for a stupendous amount of money to return.

Honestly, I don’t think he needs to make an MCU comeback.

I also don’t think the MCU needs him to return.

What I think would be a better way forward for him and the MCU is if they part ways for good.

No more discussions about maybe coming back to the MCU as Tony Stark.

Is Robert Downey Jr. going to join the DCEU?

Maybe a role in the DCEU would be a good thing for Downey Jr..

Perhaps he might be able to broaden his acting horizons with a really meaty DCEU role.

There are so many people he’d be great for in the DCEU.

It also looks like Warner Bros. is on a bit of a roll as far as their DC Comics movies are concerned.

I’ve really enjoyed their last two films: Birds of Prey and Joker.

It also looks like The Batman has the potential to be very special indeed.

What do you think Robert Downey Jr.’s going to do? Would you like to see him join the DCEU?
