The Petition To Remove Amber Heard From Aquaman 2 Skyrockets After Leaked Phone Call
The petition to remove Amber Heard as Mera in Aquaman 2 has skyrocketed after her phone call with Johnny Depp was leaked.
It’s not been an easy case to follow, however, the whole Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard battle has been roaming on.
It seems as though there are a lot of people out there who no longer want to see Amber Heard as Mera after the allegations made against her.
She started off by claiming she was a victim of domestic abuse at the hands of her then-husband, Johnny Depp.
However, these claims were put into question when audio between the two was leaked.
There were subsequent allegations made against her from her former partners.
The most recent development in this case saw more leaked phone calls turn up on The Daily Mail.
In this phone call, Heard seemingly mocks Depp for claiming he’s been a victim of domestic abuse.
It looks like Amber Heard won’t be Mera in Aquaman 2
In the recording, the actress tells Depp: “Tell the world Johnny, tell them… I Johnny Depp, a man, I’m a victim too of domestic violence… and see how many people believe or side with you”.
Heard adds in a rather jeering tone: “You’re bigger and you’re stronger… I was a 115lb woman… You’re going to get up on the stand, Johnny, and say, ‘she started it’? Really?”
Heard then said: “I have never been able to overpower you… there’s a jury and there’s a judge will see that there’s a very big difference between me and you.”
Since this phone call was leaked, people have signed the petition to remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2 in their droves.
The petition is on Change.org and it’s now reached over 327,000 signatures, which is crazy.
What do you make of this? Should Amber Heard be removed as Mera from Aquaman 2?
