There are a lot of people on Twitter who are now calling for Donald Trump to be digitally removed from Home Alone 2. The outgoing President of the United States did have a brief cameo in the movie, and people want Disney to take it out of the film.

Home Alone 2: Lost In New York is a terrific Christmas movie, but there’s one huge problem with the film: Donald Trump’s cameo. It’s just bizarre to see him in the movie and given the recent horrific scenes he instigated (I’m talking, of course, about the riots at the Washington DC Capitol).

I actually watched Home Alone 2 this Christmas, and I forgot he was in the movie. The moment completely takes you out of the film, and he’s also a very poor actor. The guy can’t even play himself convincingly, which is saying something. Fans of the movie have now taken to Twitter demanding that he be digitally removed from Home Alone 2.

Some people offered some incredible replacements for Donald Trump in that scene. My favourite is definitely having Keanu Reeves turn up in the scene instead.

However, I do love the idea of Kevin McCallister meeting his older self in that scene, played, of course, by Macaulay Culkin. That would just be so cool and pretty trippy. I could also start the Home Alone Cinematic Universe (the HACU if you will).
