Paul Bettany has been talking about the upcoming Marvel Studios Disney Plus series, WandaVision, and he revealed that it would make sense within the context of the MCU. He revealed this during a recent interview with Collider in which he also claimed that the show will be bonkers.
So, WandaVision is coming out on Disney Plus on January 15th, 2021, which is a bit of a delay, but not a huge one. One of the questions people have been asking about the upcoming Marvel show is whether it’ll tie in with the rest of the MCU or not.
It seems to be mostly taking place within Wanda Maximoff’s head, which is why Paul Bettany’s Vision is able to be in the show in the first place. It also looks like this show will be unlike anything we’ve seen in the MCU before.
WandaVision will make sense within the MCU says Paul Bettany
Paul Bettany was chatting to Collider about the upcoming series, and during this interview, he revealed that it would make sense within the MCU. Here’s what he had to say on the matter:
I think it’s going to make you think about the MCU in a whole brand new way but I do think that it’s absolutely a part of that universe. As each episode unfolds, the audience will be able to peel back layer upon layer until this rather beautiful puzzle box written by Jac Schaeffer and directed by Matt Shakman and shot by Jess Hall will be revealed to everybody and it will make sense. All of the bonkers stuff will be about something.
