Paul Bettany Says The Big WandaVision Cameo Is Not Doctor Strange
Now, there have been all sorts of rumours about who will be cameoing in WandaVision, and Paul Bettany seems to be saying that it won’t be Doctor Strange. He revealed this in a recent interview with Esquire.
Who will be cameoing in WandaVison? That is the question that everybody wants answered, and right now, your guess is as good as mine. We’ve already been told that James Spader is going to be returning to the MCU in this show, but it seems as though neither he nor Benedict Cumberbatch are the actors Bettany’s been referring to.
Paul Bettany says the WandaVision cameo is not Doctor Strange
Here’s what Paul Bettany had to say in that interview with Esquire in which he might have revealed a little bit too much about the upcoming cameo in WandaVision:
There is one character that has not been revealed. And it is very exciting. It is an actor I’ve longed to work with all of my life. We have some amazing scenes together, and I think the chemistry between us is extraordinary and fireworks on set. I’m really excited for people to see that stuff. People seem to think [it’s] Doctor Strange. Truth is, there is one character that has not been revealed, and it is very exciting; it’s an actor I’ve longed to work with all my life.
Bettany then went on to add the following regarding the WandaVision theories that have been making the rounds on the Internet:
Some of them are eerily accurate. But this one that mentions Mephisto? I can’t speak to… right now. Because I’m worried about getting fired.
