Now, who is this big secret cameo in WandaVision coming from? Is it Benedict Cumberbatch? Could it be Sir Patrick Strewart? Well, people are now saying that it’s going to be Al Pacino who’s going to cameo in WandaVision, which I’m finding slightly hard to believe, but it would be incredible!

Why do people think that Al Pacino could be making a cameo appearance in at least one of the final two episodes of WandaVision?

Well, it has to do with what Paul Bettany revealed in a recent interview he did with Esquire. Here’s what Bettany revealed in that interview:

There is one character that has not been revealed. And it is very exciting. It is an actor I’ve longed to work with all of my life. We have some amazing scenes together, and I think the chemistry between us is extraordinary and fireworks on set. I’m really excited for people to see that stuff. People seem to think [it’s] Doctor Strange. Truth is, there is one character that has not been revealed, and it is very exciting; it’s an actor I’ve longed to work with all my life.

Now, I’ve been thinking this whole time that Bettany was actually referring to Sir Patrick Stewart because he hasn’t worked with the actor before, and he would be the sort of actor an actor would want to work with.

However, Al Pacino’s had such an illustrious and successful career that it would make sense for someone like Paul Bettany to be excited to act alongside the legendary actor.

Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I think Al Pacino will be turning up in one of the final episodes of WandaVision.

If Al Pacino is in WandaVision, who would he be playing?

There are a bunch of characters from Marvel Comics Al Pacino would be great for, however the one that keeps on coming to mind is Mephisto.

Why do I say this? Well, first off, Pacino has the acting chops for the role. He’s also played the Devil before in a movie. He played the Devil in the 1997 movie, The Devil’s Advocate.

It would be such a nice nod to that film and Pacino’s incredible career to have him turn up as Mephisto and I’m pretty sure he’d have a lot of fun with the role.

The other Marvel Comics character he could play should he really be the big secret cameo in WandaVision is Nightmare.

OK, but why are people so confident that Al Pacino is turning up in WandaVision? Well, it has to do with the fact that this has been something in the making for a while.

First off, Bettany named three actors during an on-stage appearance at AsiaPOP Comic Con Manila back in 2015, when he was asked who inspired him growing up.

Those actors were Robert De Niro, Marlon Brando, and Al Pacino. Interestingly enough, Bettany has not acted alongside De Niro or Pacino yet in his career.

Moreover, in a 2014 interview with MTV, Pacino revealed he was “really impressed” with that year’s Guardians of the Galaxy movie and added that he’s “ready to go to Marvel.”

Pacino then added in another interview with MTV: “Why wouldn’t I like a movie like that? Why wouldn’t I appreciate a movie like that? I’m not necessarily going to be in it, but at the same time, there’s value to it, and you can see it.”

After that, Pacino did confirm that he actually met with Marvel Studios’ President, Kevin Feige, and this is what he had to say about meeting the man behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe:

I would imagine either there’s something he feels is right for me, or…

He was then interrupted by a phone call, and the actor joked: “Every time we talk about Marvel, that’s what happens.”
