Outer Banks Season 4 Confirmed For Netflix

Outer-Banks-Season-4-Confirmed-For-Netflix

Outer Banks Season 4 is happening over at Netflix, which is terrific news whether you’re a Pogue or a Kook! We’ve been hoping to hear this for quite some time now, but we didn’t have the official confirmation until now.

Outer Banks Season 3 has just dropped on Netflix, and it’s already in the number one spot in Netflix’s Top Ten TV shows around the world. The show has been hugely popular, and people cannot get enough of it.

We were trying to find out whether the fourth season was happening or now. That was when we were informed by somebody close to the production who wished to remain anonymous that the scripts for the fourth season had already been written and that they were working on Season 4 behind the scenes.

Here’s what the source had to tell us about the show’s fourth season:

We’re finishing up the scripts for Seasons 3 and 4. Season 3 should start filming this year and be out towards the middle of 2022 – if all goes to plan.

Since then, things had gotten a bit quiet regarding Outer Banks Season 4. However, Netflix France has since revealed that the fourth season is in the works and will be coming to Netflix in the not-so-distant future.

We still don’t know whether this fourth season will be the show’s last. I have a feeling that it might be, but that hasn’t been confirmed as of writing this article.

So, this show, which I’m sure you’re all deeply in love with, follows the lives of John B (played by Chase Stokes) and his friends in North Carolina’s Outer Banks, who get into a world of trouble when searching for lost treasure on the island.

How’s the third season been doing on Netflix?

The show’s first season saw John B reeling from the disappearance of his father, who never returned after attempting to hunt down the shipwrecked Royal Merchant, which was carrying $400 million dollars in gold. So, John B and his mates pick up where his father left off, but they’re not the only ones searching for sunken treasure.

The island’s class warfare, particularly between the Cameron family and John B, complicates the Pogues’ hunt for the Royal Merchant’s gold in season 1, which continues as the stakes increase in Outer Banks season 2. We’re eagerly awaiting what happens in the third season (yep, I still haven’t finished the show’s third season yet).

You can stream Outer Banks Season 3 on Netflix right now. It’s already been doing incredibly well on the streaming platform, so I’m sure that the majority of you reading this article have already finished the season. I’d like to know what you think might happen in the fourth one and whether you reckon it’ll be the show’s final season.

I think there’s still quite a bit of story to be told, and there’s obviously a lot of interest in the show, so maybe we could get a fifth season. However, something tells me that Netflix might want to end it with Season 4.
