Netflix has released the first trailer for Extraction 2, the sequel to the 2020 action thriller starring Chris Hemsworth. The trailer was released online on May 17, 2023, and it gives fans a first look at the film’s high-octane action sequences and Hemsworth’s return as Tyler Rake.

The trailer opens with Rake waking up in a hospital bed, recovering from the injuries he sustained in the first film. He is soon recruited for another dangerous mission: to rescue the son of a Georgian gangster who has been kidnapped by a rival gang. Rake travels to Tbilisi, Georgia, to carry out the rescue, but he quickly finds himself in over his head. The trailer features a number of intense action sequences, including a car chase, a shootout, and a hand-to-hand fight.

In addition to Hemsworth, the sequel also stars Rudhraksh Jaiswal, Randeep Hooda, Golshifteh Farahani, and Pankaj Tripathi. Jaiswal will play Ovi Mahajan, the son of the kidnapped gangster. Hooda will play Saju Rav, a mercenary who is also after Ovi. Farahani will play Nik Khan, a drug lord who is involved in the kidnapping. Tripathi will play Amir Asif, a government official who is helping Rake with the rescue mission.
