New DC Movie Slate Reportedly Being Announced Tomorrow

It’s being reported that James Gunn and Peter Safran’s new DC movie slate will be announced tomorrow, and potentially some of DC’s upcoming TV shows as well. There have been so many rumours about what Gunn and Safran might have planned for the DC Universe, and it looks like we’re finally going to get some sort of answer.

We’ve already heard reports that James Gunn is working on a new Superman movie that won’t star Henry Cavill as the Man Of Steel. There have also been rumours that Jason Momoa might be saying goodbye to the Aquaman role and hello to a new role in the DC Universe, specifically Lobo.

There have been multiple reports that Gunn and Safran are planning on bringing some more left-field DC Comics characters into the mainstream. I’ve heard a lot of rumours about Bat-Mite being brought into the DC Universe, which I think would be both brilliant and hilarious.

So, why do we believe that James Gunn could be announcing the new DC Studios movie and maybe even the TV slate tomorrow? Well, it all has to do with a report that Gunn and Safran are going to be holding a press conference during which they will reveal what they are working on behind the scenes.

It was then reported, via influencer Matt Ramos (via The Direct), that the official confirmation would be made on Tuesday. We, here at Small Screen, have been informed that there will be a press conference and that all the journalists and ‘influencers’ who have been invited to said conference will be under a script embargo, which will be lifted on Tuesday.

We have been able to confirm these rumours, and it seems as though we will get to learn more about the future of the DC Universe tomorrow, which is very exciting indeed.

All we need to know now is what on Earth do Gunn and Safran have cooking in the DC Studios kitchen?
