Money Heist Season 5 Being Released In Two Parts

It’s been revealed that Netflix is releasing Money Heist Season 5 (La Casa De Papel Part 5) in two parts, which is an interesting strategy.

They going to be releasing Money Heist Season 5 Part 1 on September 3rd, and then release the second part on December 3rd, 2021.

This is in line with what we were told a few weeks back. We were told that the show would be released in the 4th quarter of 2021 – towards December.

Well, it seems as though Netflix wants to make sure that people stay invested in the show for as long as possible.

Therefore, what they’ve opted to do, which is smart by the way, is to release the final season in two parts.

This isn’t the first time Netflix has done this.

They are releasing Lucifer Season 5 in two parts. The first part has already been released and Lucifer Season 5 Part B is coming out later this month.

This decision was made before they decided to green light a sixth and final season of Lucifer.

The show’s creator, Álex Pina, had this to say:

When we began to write Part 5 in the midst of the pandemic, we felt that we had to change what was expected from the ten-episode season and used every tool we could to create the sensation of a season finale or series finale in the first volume itself. We decided to work in an extremely aggressive genre, putting The Gang on the ropes. In volume 2, we focus more on the emotional situation of the characters. It is a journey across their sentimental map that connects us directly to their departure.

We know for sure that Money Heist Season 5 will be the final season of the show.

We also know that they are currently making a Korean version of the show, which actually sounds pretty interesting to me.

This all comes after there were rumours that Berlin might be alive in Money Heist Season 5.

He is supposedly dead and the actor has been in the show through a series of flashbacks.

However, fans think they might have spotted a clue in one of the show’s recent posts on Instagram that pointed towards Berlin still being alive.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens when Money Heist Season 5 Part 1 (or A) is released on September 3rd.
