Michael B Jordan Wants To Return To The MCU

Michael B Jordan has revealed that he would never say no to returning to play Killmonger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) after having played the character brilliantly in the first Black Panther movie. He revealed this during a recent interview with Extra TV.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is about to be released in cinemas worldwide, and we are already wondering what will come next! Well, there have been many people who’ve been calling for Killmonger to return to the MCU. However, the character died in the first Black Panther movie. Yet, that doesn’t mean that Jordan’s time playing the character in the MCU has ended. The actor recently opened up about wanting to return to the role in the future.

Here’s what Jordan had to say when he was asked during a recent interview whether he would ever return to the role of Killmonger in the MCU:

I don’t know if it’s a possibility. I mean, at one point or another, being able to be in the Marvel Universe was like a dream come true and if there was an opportunity for me to come back, of course I would. I’m not one of those guys like ‘oh no, I would never.’ Working with [director Ryan Coogler], what we did on that first project and what Marvel does as a whole is something that, as a fan, as a nerd and geek that I am, I just love to see those movies and those characters come to life.

Honestly, seeing Jordan return as Killmonger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be brilliant, and I really hope that it does end up happening. We’re going to have to wait and see what ends up happening. I think it could happen, and I actually think it should happen. The MCU could really benefit from having an actor of Jordan’s quality back in the mix.
