It’s been revealed that Marvel Studios will be keeping The Punisher’s skull logo in the upcoming reboot which is said to be coming to Disney Plus. This news comes to us from Mikey Sutton over at Geekosity.

There has been talk over the past few weeks that maybe The Punisher shouldn’t wear his skull logo in the upcoming reboot which seems to be coming to Disney Plus. This comes after people storming the Capitol in Washington DC and some of the people rioting were wearing The Punisher’s skull logo on their tops.

Jon Bernthal himself was upset about that and said that Frank Castle does not stand with those people. He wrote: “These people are misguided, lost, and afraid. They have nothing to do with what Frank stands for or is about.”

Here’s what Mikey Sutton had to say about The Punisher keeping his skull logo in the upcoming reboot which could be coming to Disney Plus:

The Punisher will keep his iconic skull emblem in the MCU under the creative guidance of Marvel Studios. Controversy erupted after one of the rioters at the United States Capitol on January 6 was photographed wearing it. However, I have been told that Disney has no plans whatsoever on removing it from the character.
