Marvel Wants A Big Name To Direct Fantastic Four Movie

Fantastic Four Movie Cast Announcement Coming Soon (EXCLUSIVE)

It’s being reported that Marvel Studios is looking for a “big name” director to helm the upcoming MCU Fantastic Four movie.

This news comes to us via Geekosity.

They are reporting that Marvel Studios is looking at bigger name directors than they normally do for the upcoming Fantastic Four film.

This all comes after the film’s original director, Jon Watts, left the project.

I wasn’t surprised to see Watts leave the Fantastic Four movie.

He’s come off of having made three massive Spider-Man movies for Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios.

Watts made Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

He clearly needs a break from making comic book movies.

A big name director to helm the Fantastic Four movie…? Which directors are Marvel looking at?

One of the names that keeps on cropping up for Fantastic Four director is Jon Krasinski.

We recently saw Krasinski turn up as an alternate version of Reed Richards in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.

However, I’m not totally sure whether Krasinski is the right man for the job.

It has already been revealed via a new report from Justin Kroll that Marvel Studios is considering many people to direct the movie.

There have also been rumours that Bryce Dallas Howard could both direct and star in the MCU movie.

It’s going to be very interesting to see who Marvel ends up going with.

One thing’s for sure, Marvel’s President, Kevin Feige, wants a safe pair of hands for the project.

It’s been reported that he doesn’t want to be as hands-on as he was for Doctor Strange 2, even though that movie was directed by Sam Raimi.

What do you make of this rumour?

Which director would you like to see helm the MCU’s Fantastic Four movie?
