Disney Plus will soon be launching in the US and other selected territories. One of the territories no selected so far is the UK and there’s no word yet on when Disney Plus will be crossing the pond. However, we do know which Marvel movies will be on the streaming platform on release day.
Funnily enough, not every single Marvel movie will be available to stream on Disney Plus on release day, but there’s a pretty good selection of them.
You’ll be able to binge-watch these movies in a weekend easily and it would be a weekend to remember if you ask me.
So, anyway, here are the Marvel movies which you’ll be able to watch on Disney Plus on release day (if you live in the US…).
These are the Marvel movies coming to Disney Plus on release day
- Iron Man
- Iron Man 3
- Thor: The Dark World
- Guardians of the Galaxy
- Avengers: Age of Ultron
- Captain Marvel
It’s pretty interesting that only seven out of the 23 movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe made so far. However, there could be a good reason for that. It could be down to the fact that Disney wants to stagger the release of the Marvel movies onto the streaming platform.
It was announced that Avengers: Endgame will be made available later this year, so that’s a pretty good thing to look forward to.
Out of the Marvel movies announced, the ones I’d like to rewatch immediately are Iron Man, Iron Man 3 and Guardians of the Galaxy.
The one I’d probably skip would be Thor: The Dark World which I believe to be the worst Marvel movie ever made, although Iron Man 2 is a close second.

I listed every single movie and TV show in this article here. It took me ages, so it would be wonderful if you could have a look!
There are some real gems in there, and I will go over the movies and TV shows you should definitely catch when Disney Plus is eventually available in the UK.
