Marvel Reportedly Wants Morbius And Blade In An MCU Film Together

Morbius-Still-Jared-Leto-Trailer-reshoots-coronavirus

Morbius’ very first trailer has caused quite a stir on the Internet. People just can’t stop talking about it, and we’re now hearing rumours of a potential Morbius and Blade team-up movie in the MCU.

This, if it were to happen, would be incredible and kind of make sense.

Morbius is basically a vampire and Blade hunts vampires.

He’s also half-vampire himself, but there’s also the fact that Blade could be the key to Morbius curing himself.

The whole reason why Morbius turns into a living vampire is because he’s trying to find a cure for his rare blood disease.

He ends up finding some cave full of bats, cuts his hand and somehow this transforms him into a living vampire.

Makes perfect sense, doesn’t it?

Anyway, according to We Got This Covered, their sources have revealed to them that Marvel President, Kevin Feige, is keen on bringing Morbius and Blade together in a future MCU movie.

This is a rumour, so don’t take it at face value, but it would be fun to see Jared Leto’s Morbius and Mahershala Ali’s Blade together on-screen, and I do think it would make sense for the two characters to be involved in a film together.

It all hinges on whether this Morbius film is good and whether people react well to Jared Leto’s performance.

Remember what happened in Suicide Squad… People really didn’t take to his Joker and he’s now out of those movies.

Hopefully, it won’t be the same case with Morbius. I also think he’s much better suited to this role anyway.

What did you guys make of the Morbius trailer and would you like him and Blade in a movie together?
