Lucifer’s Cameo In The CW’s Crisis On Infinite Earths Revealed

So, we all thought that Lucifer wasn’t going to be part of The CW’s Crisis On Infinite Earths, despite the fact that Tom Ellis was seen in Vancouver whilst they were filming scenes of the huge crossover event.

Tom Ellis said unequivocally that he wasn’t going to be in The CW’s event, yet his cameo has been revealed via a video posted on YouTube.

The scene in question sees John Constantine, John Diggle and Oliver Queen’s daughter travel top Earth-666 in order to speak to Tom Ellis’ Lucifer Morningstar to ask him for help to get into Purgatory so that they can rescue Oliver Queen’s soul.

Yep, this episode in The CW’s Crisis On Infinite Earths will be rather spiritual in nature, and I’m pretty sure that Lucifer fans will be very excited to see him be part of these The CW crossover episodes.

There was also a rather interesting bit of information teased in this clip which I will go into more detail in an upcoming article (stay tuned for that one).

However, it all boils down to Lucifer teasing that Constantine had something to do with Maze getting to Earth in the first place.

That’s all very exciting and these crossover episodes have thrown up some rather fascinating scenes between all the DC Comics characters.

I just love the fact that Lucifer is even in this episode. Cast your minds back to a few months ago and you might remember hearing Ellis say the following when Entertainment Tonight asked if he was going to be in Crisis On Infinite Earths.

Right, okay, see… this is what happens. I go to Vancouver for the weekend to visit my friend for his birthday and now suddenly, I’m in a different show!

When he was asked directly if Lucifer would be in the crossover event to end all crossover events, he insisted: “No! Hard pass, sorry… Sorry fans.

It sounds like the friend’s birthday he was referring to must have taken place on the Crisis On Infinite Earths set.
