Lucasfilm Planning On Making The Mandalorian Universe As Big As The MCU

The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 4 Disney Plus

It’s being rumoured that Lucasfilm is planning on making The Mandalorian universe as big as the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). This report comes from We Got This Covered, so maybe take it with a slight pinch of salt.

This is something that makes a lot of sense to me because Lucasfilm has really hit on something special with The Mandalorian. Lucasfilm is also part of Disney, and one of Disney’s most successful properties has been the MCU.

It seems as though Lucasfilm now wants The Mandalorian to be as big as the MCU, and we could have seen the beginnings of that at the Disney Investor’s Day presentation. Kathleen Kennedy revealed a whole bunch of The Mandalorian spinoff shows.

During the Disney Investor’s Day presentation, Kennedy revealed the likes of Rangers of the New Republic, Ahsoka and it was then revealed that there was also going to be The Book Of Boba Fett. These shows are all going to be related to The Mandalorian.

Other Star Wars shows they announced at the Disney Investor’s Day presentation includes Kenobi, Andor, The Acolyte, Lando, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Star Wars: Visions and A Droid Story. It really does seem as though there’s a lot to look forward to as far as Star Wars shows are concerned.

Took them millions of dollars and wasted potential of the Sequels to finally get something right, let’s hope they don’t waste another chance by giving more project to the ones responsible for this.
