Anthony Mackie Opens Up On Chris Evans Returning As Captain America

New Captain America 4 The Falcon And The Winter Soldier

Anthony Mackie has opened up on Chris Evans returning as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which was pretty exciting news. Mackie offered his thoughts on Evans’ return during a recent episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast.

The news that Chris Evans was going to be returning as Captain America in the MCU was a welcome shock to many of us Marvel fans who’d thought we’d seen the last of Cap in Avengers: Endgame. They really played it out as if that was going to be his final appearance in these Marvel movies.

However, with these upcoming Disney Plus Marvel TV shows, it seems as though there are now new avenues for him to return, and I’m pretty confident that Evans is going to turn up in at least one of the Marvel series.

Anyway, here’s what Anthony Mackie had to say about Chris Evans’ return as Cap in the MCU:

You know, I’ve heard that. Like, I’ve seen that, and, look, Chris is my boy, so if they’re getting the band back together, I’ll be very happy with that.

I think everybody is very happy with the news that Chris Evans is going to be returning as Captain America, or Steve Rogers, in the MCU. It seems as though Anthony Mackie’s Falcon is going to be the new Captain America in the MCU. So, maybe Evans’ Steve Rogers will be back to offer some guidance to Sam Wilson on how to become the new Captain America.

It’s going to be interesting to see how all of this develops in the MCU. For now, we’ve got WandaVision to enjoy on Disney Plus.
