Letitia Wright In Danger Of Getting Fired From The MCU

It’s being reported that Black Panther 2 star, Letitia Wright, could be getting herself in danger of being fired from the MCU.

This would be a huge deal if she does because it would be a very delicate situation.

Now, this report of her being in danger of being fired from Disney, and therefore Marvel Studios, comes from Giant Freakin Robot.

They’re claiming that they’ve been informed that Wright is walking on a tightrope right now over at Marvel.

It all reportedly has to do with her sharing anti-vax views on the set of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Wright was in the headlines a few months back for sharing an anti-vax video on social media.

She ended up leaving Twitter entirely and also reportedly sacked her management team after the whole affair.

Wright is currently filming Black Panther 2, which is being directed by Ryan Coogler, and it was reported that she was spreading anti-vaxxer theories on the film’s set.

Now, Disney has a very strict policy about this sort of thing.

They’ve made it very clear that they want all of their actors and crew members to be vaccinated, and if not, then they have to be constantly tested.

It seems as though Wright is having to get COVID-19 tests regularly because she won’t take the vaccine.

This doesn’t cause a problem in itself, but what does is her spreading conspiracy theories on set, reportedly (I have to add that bit for legal purposes).

According to GFR, Marvel is already looking at backup plans should Disney lose patience with Wright and just decide to fire her from the movie.

This would not be good for Marvel nor the MCU given the fact that Wright’s character, Shuri, is going to be a vital part of the movie moving forward.

Weekly testing is definitely a small inconvenience for someone who chooses to not get the jab (even thought I feel that in itself is preposterous because vaccinated people also get sick.) But I try my best to keep my opinions regarding the vaccines out of the workplace, as long as I am not being forced to take the jab. I think she should too. I love Leticia in this role and would hate to see her loose it.
