After his surgery on January 2, he remained in the Intensive Care Unit, reflecting a critical but stable condition. By January 4, Renner made sure to post an update on social media to assure everyone he was on the road to recovery, saying:

Thank you all for your kind words. I’m too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.

There was even another update that followed, showing Renner having somewhat of a “spa day” in the hospital. The post truly relieved a lot of stress, as it actually showed the actor still shining a light despite what he is going through.

Now, this new update brings people together to send the actor much-needed support. Fans have been sending him well wishes online and praying for his speedy recovery.

Dr. Gabe Mirkin, a doctor from Florida, talks about Renner’s condition:

Blunt chest trauma means he could have cracked his ribs. There could be heart damage, This will be a long and slow recovery for him.

Aside from this, an insider reveals:

Jeremy’s already had two delicate surgeries. But there are serious doubts he will ever be able to walk right again or at all.

The heavier piece of information is as follows:

His loved ones worry the damage was significant enough to prevent him from moving the way he used to, that is, if he doesn’t lose the leg altogether.

The actor’s family and close friends fear that the accident has caused irreparable damage to his legs. Even worse, the possibility of losing a leg totally.

Nevertheless, Jeremy Renner has demonstrated that he is a survivor time and again. With the full support of his family and friends, he will overcome any challenge he may face.

It is evident that he draws strength from people with whom he is close. No doubt, he and his family are overwhelmed with everything that is happening.

The update does make people worry but at the same time, note the fact that Renner is recovering. If not for his neighbours, he might not have gotten the soonest medical attention possible.

Even though there is the possibility of amputation and utilization of artificial appendage, we pray that it remains as that. Just a possibility.

Above all of these, Renner’s personal updates reflect his nature to lessen the stress of the people around him. One can readily see that he is used to being the one taking care of everyone else.

For sure, he is the kind of person who doesn’t want anyone to worry about him. He keeps reassuring everyone he appreciates the support he is receiving as he is working on his recovery.

Jeremy Renner even celebrated his birthday last January 7. Now at 52, he thanks fans who remembered to greet him as the Mayor of Kingstown. Base Chicago even sent a video clip celebrating his special day.

Season 2 of Mayor of Kingstown begins on January 15th, 2023.
